Job Description:
Dew It Contracting Ltd. of 1852 Grandview Rd, Gibsons, BC, V0N 1V5 is seeking a full-time, permanent Short Haul Truck Driver.
Compensation: $36.60 – $37.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and drive primarily straight trucks to transport goods and materials on local and short interurban routes.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of the vehicle, including condition of equipment and safe loading/unloading of cargo.
• Operate specialized trucks such as dump trucks
On-the-job training will be provided.
Employment Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school
• Class 3 or D licence
Preference will be given to applicants with:
• Related work experience
• Air brake endorsement (Z)
