Job Duties:
Plan, organize, direct, and control daily operations of the truck and trailer repair shop to ensure efficient workflow and timely service delivery.
Manage, schedule, and evaluate the work of mechanics, and support staff to maintain productivity and safety standards.
Oversee repair and maintenance activities for trucks and trailers to ensure work meets industry regulations and quality requirements.
Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies, including ordering materials and controlling costs.
Prepare work schedules, monitor labour hours, and ensure adequate staffing levels for shop operations.
Handle customer inquiries, service estimates, and resolve operational or service-related issues professionally.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
