Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Shipping & Receiving Personnel II is responsible for the effective control of all incoming/outgoing goods and inventory in the warehouse and maintaining the warehouse in accordance with good manufacturing practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintain all raw material finished goods and in-process material.
* Receipt of incoming raw materials.
* Ensure proper quarantine of incoming materials.
* Data entry for all inventory transactions.
* Maintain Visual for purchased materials.
* Organize the shipment of finished product, samples, and equipment through packing for safe transportation.
* Prepare and issue all relevant documentation, as stated in the Nordson Medical quality system.
* Preparation of customs documentation where required and ensuring shipments (incoming or outgoing) are on-time and complete
* Maintain cleanliness of warehouse.
* Follow and adhere to all applicable procedures / policies.
* Able to use material handling equipment as necessary.
* Work safely with various cutting tools.
* Ability to stand for long periods of time.
* Maintain Off-site building inventory
* Knowledge of the purchasing function
* Ability to initiate cycle count
* Create building/woodworking
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
* High school Diploma or GED required
* 5+ years’ shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing environment or medical device experience preferred
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn IFS Manufacturing.

* High level of passion and enthusiasm
* Strong written and verbal two-way communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and problem recognition
* Ability to read, write and speak English in order to comprehend and execute shipping functions and communicate with internal and external customers.
* Possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Interact professionally with logistics coordinators and co-workers to enhance teamwork and to foster positive working relationships
* Demonstrates professionalism, builds trust, and ensures Nordson meets its commitments
* Approachable and relationship oriented
