Sheet Metal Worker Job

-Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication specifications
-Measure, cut, bend, and shape stainless steel and sheet metal components according to project requirements
-Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment including brakes, shears, forming machines, and related metalworking tools
-Smooth, grind, and polish metal surfaces to meet quality and sanitary standards
-Assemble and join sheet metal components using welding, soldering, riveting, and mechanical fasteners
-Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications
-Repair and maintain fabricated stainless steel and sheet metal products as required
-Follow workplace safety procedures and company fabrication standards

-Completion of secondary school is required
-Minimum 2–3 years of sheet metal fabrication, welding, or related metalworking experience OR completion of a recognized apprenticeship program
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication specifications
-Experience operating sheet metal fabrication and metalworking equipment
-Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production deadlines
-Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends when required
