Duties:
• Supervising and coordinating service advisors and front-line staff who assist customers, prepare documentation, and provide service-related information
• Monitoring repair order (R/O) progress to ensure service timelines and communication standards are met
• Establishing work schedules and procedures for the service team, while coordinating with the shop, tower/controller, and other departments
• Ensuring accurate and timely communication with customers throughout the vehicle service process
• Requisition of materials and supplies when needed
• Liaising with technicians to gather detailed repair estimates and timelines
• Coordinating sublet services and external vendors to meet service deadlines
• Preparing reports on customer satisfaction, service workflow, and team performance
• Ensuring that standards for safe working conditions are observed
• Resolving escalated customer issues with professionalism and timely follow-up
• Identifying training needs and arranging onboarding or skills development for staff
• Preparing production and other reports
• Coaching team members and supporting their performance improvement
• Managing scheduling tools and service software and coordinating technical support when needed
• Conducting regular team meetings to review KPIs, updates, and concerns
• Performing operational tasks when required, including writing estimates, opening R/Os, and updating customers

• Completion of secondary school is required
• 2+ years of experience in the automotive industry is required
• Experience as a supervisor in the automotive industry/auto service department is an asset
• Experience with relevant software such as Dynatron, PBS, CDK and Mitchell 1 is an asset
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Strong supervision and leadership skills
