Field Service Manager Supervisor Director Manufacturing Production Line Machinery Automation Automated Assembly Fabrication Processing Packaging _.

Seeking experienced Field Service Technician able to step into a supervisory role and lead a team of 15+ technicians in training, scheduling and management activities.

Key Functions:

*** Oversee training of technicians and engineers in service call requirements, Automated Manufacturing Production Line repair and customer interaction strategies.

*** Develop and maintain relationships with machine part suppliers, manufacturers and outside vendors supplying key components and after-market parts for machinery.

*** Interface with representatives from customers and develop service call schedules, regular maintenance requirements and determine level of urgency for repair activities.

*** Work with business development teams and provide input into comprehensive business strategies surrounding continuous customer support activities and new customer development.

Qualifications:

*** 5+ years industry experience with strong knowledge of field service activities, customer interaction and relationship building with vendors and suppliers.

*** Experience leading a team in a 'direct report' environment.

*** Ability to train a diverse team working on complex machine tools in customer facilities.
