Travaux Sylvicoles El Djarouf Inc. is seeking Senior Logging Machinery Operators to support its forestry operations in Québec. The position involves operating advanced logging and tree-harvesting machinery while ensuring safe, efficient, and productive forest exploitation. This is a senior-level role requiring technical expertise, polyvalent skills, and leadership capabilities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate logging machinery such as feller-bunchers, harvesters, skidders, delimbers, forwarders, and log loaders, including advanced or high-capacity equipment.
- Perform complex, high-precision, and varied forestry operations in different terrain and weather conditions.
- Lead by expertise in optimizing harvesting sequences, machine utilization, and overall worksite efficiency.
- Conduct advanced inspections, minor maintenance, and operational adjustments to ensure safe and continuous equipment operation.
- Ensure strict and proactive compliance with forestry safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Act as a senior technical reference and mentor for less-experienced operators, providing guidance and on-site support.
- Support worksite coordination and promote elevated safety practices and risk-prevention measures.

Several years of progressive experience as a logging machinery operator, including operation of complex forestry equipment.

Strong technical knowledge of logging machinery used in forest exploitation.

Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor forestry environments and variable weather conditions.

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor, guide, and support other operators.

Strong understanding of forestry safety standards and best practices.

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
