Centra Windows is looking for a passionate skilled Senior Service Technician to join our team in Calgary, AB.

Position: Senior Window and Door Service Technician (NOC 73200)
Employment Terms and Conditions: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), Day, Flexible Hours, To be determined,
Wage: $37.00 – $39.00 per hour
Benefits: 2 weeks’s vacation, employee ownership program
Work Location: 4705 102 Ave SE, Calgary, AB T2C 2X7
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Lead the installation, assembly, and adjustment of windows and doors according to manufacturer specifications and project plans.
• Perform complex on-site repairs, replacements, and maintenance of windows, doors, and associated hardware.
• Inspect installations for quality control, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and operational efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings to determine installation requirements and advise on project feasibility.
• Provide expert technical guidance to clients and resolve complex product or installation issues.
• Mentor and supervise junior technicians, providing on-site training and guidance to ensure consistent quality and safety.
• Collaborate with sales, production, and project management teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed service logs, reports, and records for installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures while on-site.
• Travel to client sites across the assigned territory as required.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, product knowledge sessions, and training to stay current with industry standards and installation techniques.
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
• Diploma degree
• 3-5 years of experiece in installer, repairing or carpentry field; previous supervisor or managerial experience is required
• Experience in window/door service, glazing, carpentry, or construction trade.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Physical capability of performing duties; Handling heavy loads
• Client focus, Team player, Reliability, Flexibility, Effective interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
• Willing to travel
