Role Summary - (To be filled by Practice /DO)
We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to assess, redesign, and optimize the Okta End-User Dashboard experience for employees and contractors. The consultant will evaluate the current dashboard layout, identify usability improvements, and develop a modern, business-aligned dashboard structure that enhances discoverability, usability, and self-service adoption.The ideal candidate will possess strong UX design expertise, experience designing enterprise portals or SaaS-based user experiences, and the ability to translate stakeholder requirements into intuitive dashboard designs. The role requires close collaboration with IAM Engineers, Okta Administrators, business stakeholders, and IT leadership to deliver an optimized dashboard experience

3+ years of UX/UI Design experience
3+ years of experience designing enterprise portals, SaaS applications, or employee-facing digital platforms
3+ years of proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent design tools

A well-designed Okta dashboard enables users to quickly access the applications and services relevant to their role while supporting least-privilege access principles.The successful candidate will help increase user adoption, reduce support requests, improve application discoverability, and establish a scalable dashboard design framework aligned with business functions and governance standards
What You'll Do/
Job Description of Role* (RNR) - To be Evaluated by Technical Panel (Define it to give more clarity)
Assess the existing Okta End-User Dashboard structure, tile organization, and user experience,Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability assessments to gather workforce feedback,Analyze dashboard usage patterns and identify opportunities for usability improvementsDesign wireframes and prototype concepts for a redesigned dashboard experienceDevelop section-based dashboard layouts organized by business functions such as IT, HR, Finance, Clinical Systems, and R&DDefine dashboard information hierarchy, navigation structure, and content organization standardsEstablish tile naming conventions, icon standards, categorization guidelines, and design consistency principlesCreate presentation materials and facilitate design review sessions with IAM leadership and IT stakeholders,Incorporate stakeholder feedback and refine dashboard design recommendations,Collaborate with IAM Engineers and Okta Administrators to support implementation of approved designsParticipate in change management and deployment planning activitiesDocument design standards, recommendations, and future-state dashboard governance guidelines

Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to facilitate stakeholder workshops, gather requirements, influence decision-making, and communicate design concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
