Job Position: Senior Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hourly Wage: $40
Work Hour: At least 30 hours/week
Work Location: 4287 Kingsway #1A, Burnaby, BC V5H 1Z5
Language requirement: English
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnostics, herbal medicine prescription, acupuncture, and individualized treatment planning. The successful candidate will be able to independently manage complex patient cases and apply advanced TCM principles and treatment approaches to deliver high-quality patient care.
Job Duties:
• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations using Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnostic methods
• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans based on TCM principles
• Prescribe and dispense Chinese herbal medicine and adjust prescriptions according to patient progress
• Perform acupuncture and other TCM therapies to address a wide range of health conditions
• Apply advanced TCM clinical knowledge and treatment approaches in patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Educate patients on TCM health principles, wellness, and preventative care
• Collaborate with other healthcare and wellness professionals within the clinic
Qualification:
• Completion of formal education in Traditional Chinese Medicine
• Current registration in good standing with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC
• Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience as a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner
• Strong knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnostics, herbal medicine prescription, and acupuncture treatment
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage patient cases and develop individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
