Job Description:
Biocytogen Boston Inc seeks a Senior R&D Project Manager in Waltham, MA
• Manage and coordinate assigned bioscience research and development projects involving gene-edited models, cell lines, and preclinical in vivo and in vitro pharmacology studies.
• Develop and maintain detailed R&D project plans, including defined research milestones, timelines, deliverables, and resource coordination requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day execution of research projects to ensure alignment with established scientific objectives, schedules, and quality standards in a regulated life sciences environment.
• Coordinate cross-functional scientific teams, including research scientists, pharmacology teams, regulatory support personnel, and quality assurance staff, to facilitate efficient project execution.
• Serve as the primary project-level point of contact between U.S.-based operations and China-based R&D teams to ensure timely communication, data readiness, and milestone alignment.
• Track project progress against defined research milestones and proactively identify project-level risks related to timelines, data quality, resource availability, or technical dependencies.
• Escalate project delays, scope changes, or resource constraints to R&D leadership and assist in implementing corrective actions to maintain project continuity.
• Support coordination of scientific documentation and study materials related to preclinical research projects, including study summaries and supporting data packages for internal review or external partners.
• Assist in aligning R&D project timelines with regulatory and compliance requirements, without independently determining regulatory strategy or scientific methodology.
• Facilitate collaboration with external pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners by coordinating project schedules, deliverables, and communication related to ongoing research programs.
• Monitor project documentation and reporting to ensure consistency with internal research, quality, and data management standards.
• Prepare regular project status updates and progress reports for R&D leadership, highlighting milestone completion, risks, and upcoming deliverables.
• Support continuous improvement of R&D project management processes by identifying opportunities to enhance coordination, efficiency, and transparency across bioscience research programs.
• Ensure that assigned research projects are executed in accordance with applicable internal policies and standard operating procedures relevant to bioscience research and development activities.
Job entails working with and requires master’s degree in biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences or relevant with Candidate must have 2-years professional experience in:
• Bioscience R&D Program and Project Management
• Cross-Functional Research Operations Management
• Preclinical Development Planning and Execution Management
• Scientific Milestone Governance and Performance Tracking
• Life Sciences Compliance-Oriented Project Management
• R&D Risk Assessment and Resource Coordination Management
