Senior QA Engineer Job

Develop Test Plans and Test Cases for assigned modules/projects. Understand how existing Product features their team is working on, are being used by customers. Build, foresee and anticipate how customers will use the product (as intended or unintended) with focus on the user experience from functional and performance perspective. Partner with Engineering team to plan and implement reliable metrics and observability strategies. Review testing strategy with the team, receive feedback and continuously maintain the test suite. Demonstrate good judgment on types of testing to cover and explore other areas of testing and identify use cases to perform Load testing. Work with the third-party Test Automation Partner to prioritize test cases for Automation and achieve maximum test automation coverage reasonable for their feature area. Work with Product Managers and Designers to review and provide feedback for requirements and designs for upcoming projects. Works independently and collaborates with other engineers on their team throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Apply understanding of industry-standard continuous integration and continuous deployment practices. Mentor and guide junior and recently onboarded QA team members. Share QA best practices across the Technology organization and discuss opportunities for process improvements. Learn and follow company and Industry development and testing best practices. Communicate effectively with team members on early feedback and planning for new features, test strategy, blockers, critical issues, user experience feedback, and proactively flag risks to timelines and risks to the reliability of the software. Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Experience: Five (5) years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in job offered, or QA Engineer, Software Test Engineer, or in a related occupation.
