Senior Procurement Manager Job

Tawa Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Procurement Manager in Buena Park, California. Job duties: Lead the optimization of end-to-end import and procurement processes by identifying opportunities for automation and digital transformation. Design, implement, and oversee automated workflows for purchase orders, supplier documentation, customs compliance, and shipment tracking to improve accuracy and operational efficiency. Collaborate with IT, logistics, and external vendors to integrate procurement and import systems with ERP and supply chain management platforms. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency, compliance, and cost performance. Conduct in-depth analysis of procurement, production, and logistics timelines to identify bottlenecks and in efficiencies across the supply chain. Partner with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to improve supplier responsiveness, transportation planning, and inventory flow. Develop and implement strategies to shorten lead times while maintaining quality, regulatory compliance, and service levels. Use data analytics and forecasting tools to improve demand planning and align procurement strategies with business needs. Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to reduce total landed costs, including product costs, transportation, duties, and inventory carrying costs. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with domestic and international suppliers to achieve sustainable cost savings. Evaluate supplier performance and develop supplier consolidation or diversification strategies to improve cost efficiency and risk management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost optimization, process efficiency, and long-term supply chain resilience.

Need master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Management and Systems. Need 3 years’ experience as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or a closely related occupation, and 3 years of experience in data analysis and supply chain process automation, including automated inventory replenishment, cost and KPI analysis, reporting automation using Power BI and Excel/VBA, ERP system support, cross-functional supply chain collaboration, and analytical support for e-commerce operations and inventory planning.
