Job Description:
I. Job Duties:
- Lead and deliver sermons during Sunday worship services, Wednesday night services, early morning prayer meetings, and other spiritual gatherings.
- Conduct and oversee spiritual ceremonies, including communion, weddings, and funerals.
- Provide pastoral care through counseling, discipleship, and prayer, addressing congregational members' spiritual, emotional, and personal needs.
- Visit and offer spiritual encouragement to individuals in homes, hospitals, shelters, and prisons; develop evangelism groups for newcomers.
- Study, interpret, and preach the Bible, leading Bible study sessions for the congregation.
- Plan, implement, and oversee church ministries, outreach programs, and community missions.
- Train and mentor church leaders and teachers in Biblical teachings and discipleship.
- Preside over church meetings, guiding officers in developing and executing ministry strategies to meet the needs of the congregation, etc.
II. Minimum Education Requirement
Master of Divinity or Theology

None
IV. Skill Requirement
Ordination as a pastor from a Methodist church is required.
