Position Title: Senior Operations Research Scientist
Location: 401 Olympus Blvd., Suite 500, Coppell, TX 75019
Position Responsibilities: Perform sophisticated operations research and analysis to develop mathematical optimization models for the business problems. Apply statistical and mathematical techniques to analyze and extract valuable insights, from the data collected related to the business problem. Design and implement optimization algorithms for the modelled problems for finding the optimal solution. Perform algorithmic performance analysis. Perform proof-of-concept studies of various optimization techniques. Interact with end users to explain model behavior, model outputs, and calibration parameters. Perform R&D of new upcoming operations research techniques to bring into the existing models to improve the efficiency.
Position Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, or a related field, PLUS one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: mathematical modelling; simulation and developing solutions for large scale optimization problems; network optimization algorithms; greedy heuristics; MIP Decomposition techniques; column generation; Bender's decomposition; analyzing large data sets; SQL; Python; R; developing optimization models; C#; Gurobi; Cplex, and; FICO Xpress. Required experience and knowledge may be gained prior to or concurrently with Master’s degree. May telecommute from any location within the U.S. Multiple positions available
