Role overview
We’re looking for a Senior Mobile App Developer to lead development of our iOS and Android apps. You’ll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining high‑performance, user‑facing features across the product lifecycle—from requirements and prototyping through delivery, testing, and ongoing improvements. If you’re someone who enjoys tackling scalability, refining UX, and mentoring teammates, this role is for you.

Key responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of new mobile features, focusing on speed, reliability, and great UX.

Collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA to define user stories, technical approach, and testing strategy.

Maintain code quality through clean architecture, automated testing, and code reviews.

Optimize app performance, crashes, and memory usage; monitor metrics and ship fixes rapidly.

Mentor junior developers and help set mobile engineering standards and best practices.

Stay up to date on mobile trends, tooling, and platform changes to keep our app cutting‑edge.

Must‑have skills and experience

5+ years of professional mobile development experience.

Strong proficiency in either native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) plus solid experience with the other platform; cross‑platform experience is a plus.

Proven track record building and shipping production apps used by real customers.

Deep understanding of mobile app architecture, concurrency, networking, persistence, and security.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, performance profiling, and crash reporting.

Excellent problem solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.

Nice‑to‑have

Experience with shopping or e‑commerce apps, in‑app payments, loyalty, or promotions.

Familiarity with modern UI frameworks, animations, or accessibility best practices.

Contributions to open source or published technical articles/blogs.

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
