Position Title: Senior Manager, Data Science
Location: 1900 Camden Ave., Suite 66, San Jose, CA 95124
Position Responsibilities: Conduct sophisticated computer systems analysis, working with stakeholders to define business goals, and to define the analytics gaps. Manage design and implementation of scalable and efficient data science solutions including machine learning models AI algorithms and data pipelines. Supervise development and design of data science and machine learning solutions that address complex business problems. Collaborate with senior leadership to define the data science roadmap and set strategic priorities. Oversee data integration efforts including data acquisition data cleansing feature engineering and data enrichment. Collaborate with data engineers to ensure seamless data flows from source to model deployment. Oversee Model monitoring and maintenance. Explore new design or technology shifts in order to determine how they might connect with the customer benefits we wish to deliver. Effectively communicate and share best practices approaches and insights to your peers and leaders. Collaborate with team members peers and leadership at Tredence and client companies. Effectively communicate and share best practices approaches and insights to your peers and leaders. Stay up-to-date with state-of-the-art machine learning and AI techniques and incorporate them into projects. Manage risks and minimize complexity. Ensure integration of data flow.
Position Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field PLUS two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of Customer Targeting; Customer Engagement; CLTV based on RFM models; Sales Forecasting; Price Elasticity; Optimization; Segmentation; Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques including Anomaly Detection; Propensity Modelling; Time series forecasting; Time series clustering; Clustering; Causal Inference; A/B testing; Decision Trees CART and CHAID; Random Forest; Gradient Boosting; Linear, Lasso and Redge Regression; Logistic regression; R; Python; pyspark; Spark SQL; Teradata; Big Query, Snowflake; Databricks; Sagemaker, and; at least one (1) of the following: Azure, AWS, or GCP. Required experience and knowledge may be gained prior to, or concurrent with Master’s degree. Travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S., approximately 30%, as required. Supervise eight (8) subordinate employees.
