Position Title: Senior Manager – Data Engineering
Location: 1900 Camden Ave., Suite 66, San Jose, CA 95124
Wage: $195,000
Position Responsibilities: Build relationships with internal and external customers, providing superior customer service while managing expectations. Collaborate with other organizational leaders to identify emerging needs and rally around solutions Collaborate with Product owners to manage implementation of various projects. Ensure effective and efficient reconciliation processes for incoming and outgoing data, optimizing the outcomes of unreconciled items. Develop and maintain working relationships with Health Plans (our customers), Contracted Partners and Vendors. Develop, document, maintain, and update workflow streams. Adhere to deadlines and turnaround times set by managers and department director (these deadlines and turnaround times will, at times, require the employee to work until the project is completed, meaning extended daily work hours, extended work weeks, or both). Ensure Data Science team is trained on P&Ps and cross-trained within the team, facilitating stability of the department’s effectiveness. Work with multiple internal and external partners at various levels of the organization. Quickly troubleshoot and identify the cause of questionable results within extracts and reports.
Position Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field, PLUS one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: Hadoop; Docker Containers; AWS Kinesis; Apache Spark; Kafka; Talend Data integration; Kubernetes and containerization; GCP Pub/Sub; Data Proc; Big Table; Google Big Query; Power BI, and; Tableau. Travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. approximately 30%, as required. May telecommute from any location within the U.S.
