Senior Logistics Analyst Job

A Senior Logistics Analyst is needed in Duluth, Georgia.

Coordinate overall logistics planning by monitoring availability and operations schedules for management of company’s logistics business operations. Analyze transportation networks, freight utilization, carrier performance, inventory flow, and operational data to identify process improvements, reduce logistics costs, and enhance overall service quality. Prepare logistics operations report for coordinating logistics support activities. Develop logistics budgets, forecast transportation and distribution costs, evaluate capital and operating expenditures, and recommend initiatives to optimize logistics spending while maintaining customer service objectives. Analyze and interpret logistics information based on availability, dependability, maintainability, supply chain management, supplier management and transportation. Oversee inventory planning and distribution strategies to maintain appropriate inventory levels, improve inventory accuracy, reduce carrying costs, and support on-time fulfillment of customer requirements. Identify reoccurring problems concerning logistics operations and research solutions abiding to company’s regulations. Assure maximum efficiency by reviewing operational procedures, such as distribution, and inventory management to evaluate cost effectiveness.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics management and 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management industry.
