Senior Investment Banking Analyst Job

Our global client's Industrials Team is currently seeking a dedicated Investment Banking Senior Analyst to join their team in the Chicago, IL office. The selected candidate will work closely with the Metals sub-vertical, engaging in both upstream and downstream transactions.

Responsibilities:

Support Senior Bankers: Collaborate with senior bankers in transaction execution and client management.
Financial Analysis and Modeling: Perform in-depth financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making processes.
Industry Research and Due Diligence: Conduct thorough industry research and business due diligence to inform investment strategies.
Marketing Efforts: Participate in marketing efforts, contributing to the development of transaction marketing documents and other materials.
Client Presentation Materials: Develop compelling client presentation materials to effectively communicate investment opportunities.

Qualifications:

Experience: Two or more years of previous experience in M&A Investment Banking.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required, with a major in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
M&A Experience: Sell-side M&A experience is preferred.
Financial Acumen: Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling.
Transaction Execution: Proven track record of strong transaction execution, including presentations, financial analysis, and preparation of other materials.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
Multitasking: Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
