We are looking for a Senior Growth Engineer to build and optimize the product experiences that turn developers from curious visitors into active, engaged, and paying users.
This is not a traditional marketing or growth role.
You will be a hands-on full-stack engineer working at the intersection of software engineering, product growth, experimentation, and AI infrastructure.
You will own critical growth surfaces including signup, activation, onboarding, conversion, and upgrade experiences, while using data and experimentation to continuously improve the product-led growth (PLG) funnel.
This is a high-impact opportunity for an engineer who enjoys shipping production code, running experiments, analyzing user behavior, and directly influencing business metrics.
What You'll Do
Own the engineering behind signup, onboarding, activation, conversion, and upgrade experiences
Build and ship full-stack product experiences using modern web technologies
Instrument product funnels and establish reliable event tracking and analytics
Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and growth experiments
Identify conversion and activation opportunities through product data and user behavior
Develop hypotheses, test them rapidly, measure results, and iterate
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Growth teams
Build scalable frontend and backend systems that support a developer-focused product
Use product analytics to identify growth opportunities and improve key PLG metrics
Contribute to an AI-native engineering environment and leverage modern AI development workflows
Take ownership of projects from concept through production and measurable outcomes
What We're Looking For
5–12 years of professional software engineering experience
Strong experience as a full-stack engineer
Hands-on experience with growth engineering, product-led growth (PLG), or experimentation
Proven experience building and shipping production features that improved activation, conversion, retention, or other growth metrics
Strong proficiency in:
TypeScript
React
Next.js
Node.js
Experience with PostgreSQL and modern web application architecture
Experience designing or working with A/B testing and experimentation
Strong understanding of product analytics and funnel instrumentation
Experience with tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, PostHog, or similar analytics platforms
Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills; C1+ English proficiency
Ability to work onsite in the San Francisco Bay Area
Nice to Have
Experience working with AI infrastructure or developer-focused products
Experience with LLM APIs, particularly Anthropic/Claude
Experience building developer tools, APIs, SDKs, playgrounds, or SaaS products
Experience with Vercel, Tailwind CSS, Python, SQL, or REST APIs
Experience building AI-native workflows or using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot
Experience working at an early-stage or high-growth technology company
