Senior Director, Application Engineering Job

Ryobi Die Casting (USA), Inc. seeks Senior Director, Application Engineering to: Provide engineering and design support to internal and external customers; Supervise engineering, CAD administration, and sales teams; Communicate with customer engineering on product design and functional issues; Provide support to RDC departments on issues pertaining to customer tooling, specification and part function; Lead in the technical presentation of new products or new technology; Interpret customer prints, engineering specifications, layout results and functional requirements; Review tooling and equipment design and approve PO for all tooling and equipment for all new programs; Assist in the quotation of new products; and Provide leadership of new high profile product programs.

Requires Bachelor’s or foreign degree equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Requires 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a senior level role in engineering. Requires experience with Supervising engineers and sales managers; Working in a high-pressure aluminum die casting plant; Reviewing CAD models and tooling concepts; and Reviewing high pressure diecasting machine specifications.
