Senior Development Engineer Job

• Support new product development activities by reviewing development-stage issues, tracking improvement progress, and assisting in coordinating corrective actions to ensure that new automotive components meet internal standards and customer requirements;
• Review product- and process-related issues identified during various development stages, including trial production, inspection activities, and reliability testing, and assist in implementing improvement measures;
• Assist in monitoring and improving issues related to molds, assembly processes, jigs, and checking tools by coordinating with internal teams and tracking follow-up actions;
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and related development documentation to identify potential concerns and support manufacturing feasibility and production readiness;
• Support dimensional inspections and validation activities for components and finished products, and assist in identifying and addressing quality-related issues;
• Assist in tracking and managing issues identified during development-stage evaluations, including gate reviews, inspection trips, and reliability testing processes;
• Support trial production runs by monitoring production conditions, identifying issues, and assisting in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation;
• Prepare and maintain development-related reports and documentation, including issue tracking, improvement status updates, and development progress summaries;
• Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support smooth communication and timely resolution of development and quality-related issues; and
• Support development meetings by preparing status updates, tracking progress, and assisting in ensuring that development milestones are achieved in accordance with project timelines.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant practical experience in automotive manufacturing environments;
- Experience in automotive manufacturing environments, particularly in quality control, product development support, or production process operations;
- Familiarity with development-stage quality activities, including inspection processes, reliability testing, and issue tracking;
- Experience supporting quality and process improvement activities, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation;
- Ability to review and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation;
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in manufacturing environments;
