Senior Credit Analyst Job

Generate financial ratios and risk metrics to monitor the financial health of the company
Monitor and manage loan principal and interest payments; analyze interest expense in relation to SOFR benchmarks to assess borrowing efficiency and market alignment
Review and analyze asset valuations, financial documents and other financial information to evaluate the degree of risk
Prepare and record the monthly net present value (NPV) of interest rate swaps, evaluating and recommending optimal renewal timing for interest rate swaps to mitigate company exposure to rising credit risk and interest costs
Support long-term financing strategy by projecting leverage and interest coverage ratios over a 5-year horizon, incorporating risk assumptions and macroeconomic trends
Research, develop and implement statistical models to predict and monitor credit risk trends
Evaluate the effectiveness of current loan and financial strategies and policies and provide recommendations and reports for improvement to top management
Perform account reconciliations, prepare analysis of accounts, make adjustments and corrections accordingly
Responsible for maintaining the ledger accounts
Analyze and track employee loans and associated bad debt expenses; prepare reports to support accruals and recommend provisions where applicable
Assist in maintaining strong financial governance and internal controls related to accounting policies, and risk mitigation strategies
Assist with preparation of documents for internal and external audits
