Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of construction estimating processes and a proven track record in managing complex projects. This role is essential in ensuring accurate cost assessments and effective project management from inception to completion. The Senior Construction Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to develop competitive pricing strategies that support our clients' projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed and accurate quantity take-off of all labor, equipment, and materials required to complete the project as per contract drawing and specifications.
• Responsible for all aspects of estimating and pre-construction process for projects including pre-estimate meetings, site visits, kick off meetings, and estimate archiving.
• Conduct a detailed analysis of the contract documents and specifications, to develop a tailored quotation and cost breakdown, ensuring client satisfaction, competitiveness and profitability.
• Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures, monitor and adjust contract expenditures
• Generate and update estimate and cost reports, expenditure forecasts, and progress updates throughout the project lifecycle to support effective planning and decision-making.
• Build and maintain a reliable database of steel suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to support project execution and procurement efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, general contractors, and clients to assess design changes and provide cost impact analysis and feasibility assessments.
• Support project execution from cost estimation through fabrication, delivery, and on-site erection, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals.
• Conduct market and industry research to monitor pricing trends, steel material costs, and competitor strategies, contributing to continuous improvement in bidding and estimating practices.
• May supervise and mentor other junior estimators.

Job Requirements:
• Minimum a college diploma in civil or construction engineering technology or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of estimating experience.
• Strong understanding of construction process, materials, and methods.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with carious stakeholders.
• Experience with structural steel fabrication and construction preferred
• Knowledge of tilt-up construction methods and commercial/industrial building practices
• Proficiency with construction estimating software and project management tools
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and high attention to detail
• Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
