Senior Civil Engineer Job

Senior Civil Engineer opening with an established, multidisciplinary Architecture & Engineering firm in Alpharetta, GA, specializing in K-12 education, commercial retail, commercial office, and industrial developments. The firm provides comprehensive architectural, civil, landscape, structural, MEP, and interior design services.

Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT certification required; PE license preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months
- 10+ years of experience in civil site design, permitting, and project management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including grading, profiles, and pipe networks
- Working knowledge of hydrology modeling software (e.g., Hydraflow Extensions)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills for engineering calculations
- Understanding of stormwater and erosion control regulations in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions
- Ability to prepare stormwater management reports, permit applications, and construction specifications

Responsibilities
- Prepare site layouts, grading, utility, and erosion control plans for commercial and educational facilities
- Perform hydrology and hydraulic modeling to support stormwater management designs and reports
- Coordinate with clients, architects, surveyors, and permitting agencies
- Research regulatory requirements and contribute to Site Investigation Reports during due diligence
- Support project management, including scheduling, document organization, and quality assurance
- Assist during construction with RFIs, submittal reviews, and site visits

Compensation & Benefits
- $80,000–$130,000 based on experience, plus a $5,000–$7,000 sign-on bonus
