Senior Buyer

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and execute purchasing plans to source appropriate products in required quantities and quality.
• Analyze sales, customer preferences and market data trends and supplier offerings to make informed purchasing decisions aligned with sales objectives.
• Maintain and update product and inventory data.
• Communicate with internal/external parties, including suppliers and manufacturers, and build strong relationship.
• Assess current stock and forecast future requirements to optimize inventory levels and improve overall profitability.
• Monitor, organize, and manage the distribution of goods to maintain adequate stock.
• Prepare and present routine procurement and inventory reports to management for planning and decision-making purposes.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
• 3+ years’ experience
• Experience in relevant beauty supply products areas
• A university degree or college diploma in business or related program or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork skills
• Must be able to work in a team setting and individually with minimal supervision
• Excellent problem-solving skills applying initiative and creative thinking to resolve conflict
• Excellent organizational and time management skills for multi-tasking in a dynamic working environment
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills in all facets of duties and responsibilities
