Position Details

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Buyer to join our team and support the procurement activities that keep our operations running efficiently.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, components, supplies, and business services required for aircraft interior manufacturing and refurbishment projects.
• Assess organizational requirements and develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to support operational and production needs.
• Evaluate purchasing requirements and identify suitable suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery capabilities, and service standards.
• Solicit, review, and analyze quotations, proposals, and bids from suppliers and service providers.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, warranties, and other commercial terms with suppliers to obtain the best value for the company.
• Consult and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding procurement requirements and supply chain activities.
• Determine and negotiate contract terms and conditions and ensure compliance with company purchasing policies.
• Monitor supplier performance and track delivery schedules to ensure materials and services are received on time.
• Contact clients and suppliers to resolve purchasing, delivery, quality, or service-related issues in a timely manner.
• Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics related to procurement activities and inventory requirements.
• Assist in developing purchasing strategies and identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency and supply chain performance.
• Hire, train, coordinate, and supervise purchasing or support staff as required.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and procurement documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal departments, clients, and suppliers while supporting project timelines and operational objectives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or related experience.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Experience analyzing purchasing requirements and coordinating procurement activities.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle a large and varied workload.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and client service skills.
• Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
