Senior Associate Scientist Job

Zoetis, Inc. Designing, conducting and interpreting data from preformulation screening and formulation development experiments. Planning work based on specific objectives. Prioritizing tasks; keeping management/team informed of progress and adjust work accordingly. Displaying an understanding of project goals. Designing and conduct studies to characterize molecular and biophysical properties of peptides, proteins, monoclonal antibodies and other large molecules. Designing and developing of parenteral biologic formulations (solutions, lyophilized products, and other dosage forms). Manufacturing and supplying formulations/drug product to nonpivotal and pivotal clinical studies. Collaborating with and supporting formulation team and project teams for successful completion of formulation development, stability studies and manufacture of clinical supplies. Support scale-up and technology transfer of the monoclonal antibody formulations from R&D scale to pilot and commercial scales. Recording experiments and data appropriately and author technical reports. Keeping abreast of relevant new technologies & regulatory expectations/requirements. Ensuring work activities are aligned with relevant Quality, Regulatory and EHS requirements. Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutics, Biomedical Engineering, or related or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutics, Biomedical Engineering, or related and 3 years of experience required.
