Senior Analyst, Consumer Investment Banker Job

Our client's Consumer Team is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Investment Banking Associate to join their growing team in the Chicago office. The Consumer Team specializes in Branded eCommerce, Functional Products, and Food & Beverage, covering both upstream and downstream transactions. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in M&A Investment Banking.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary processor of transactions and proposals.
Support senior bankers in transaction execution and client management.
Conduct financial analysis to inform decision-making processes.
Conduct industry research and perform business due diligence.
Assist senior bankers in new business development initiatives.
Provide guidance and support to Analysts within the team.
Participate in marketing efforts to enhance the team's visibility.
Develop offering presentation materials for client engagements.

Qualifications:

Minimum of three years of previous experience in M&A Investment Banking.
Bachelor’s Degree required, majoring in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
Sell-side M&A experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial modeling.
Proven track record of strong transaction execution, including presentations, financial analysis, and preparation of transaction marketing documents.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Superior work ethic and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
