is in need of Semi-Vac Operator
NOC Code: 73300
Employment Terms: Full Time – Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Safely operate semi-vac trucks and vacuum equipment for fluid handling, tank cleaning, and waste removal.
2. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checking fluid levels, hoses, valves, and safety equipment.
3. Load, transport, and unload liquids and waste materials to approved disposal or treatment sites.
4. Assist with site setup and clean-up, including ensuring containment and spill prevention measures are in place.
5. Complete accurate field tickets, manifests, daily logs, and required paperwork.
6. Follow company safety standards and regulatory requirements, including PPE and HSE procedures.
7. Identify and report equipment issues, hazards, or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
8. Communicate with dispatch, site supervisors, and crew members to coordinate job details and scheduling.
9. Maintain clean and organized equipment, tools, and work area.
10. Support other field operations as needed, including assisting with related oilfield tasks.
Employment Requirements:
1. Education: Completion of secondary school education is required.
2. Work Experience: At least 1-year related experience is required.
3. Valid Class 1 or Class 3 License is required.
4. TDG, H2S, WHIMS and First Aid Certificate is required
5. Pre-employment drug and alcohol test is required
Working Hours: Long hours up to 14 hours per day is common; rotational schedule of 7 days on, followed by 3 days off or 7 days on, followed by 4 days off; Varied days off; This schedule is subject to change based on operational needs, weather conditions, and emergency response requirements
Wage/Benefits: $36.00/hour / Dental Insurance, Disability Insurance, Extended Medical Insurance
