Security Guard (Unarmed) Job

Position Details: Security Guard (Unarmed)
Location: Chattanooga, TN 37405
Pay Rate: $17.93/hr on W2 (No Benefits)
Shift: Day Shift (3 days/week) (6 pm-7:30 am)
Training: First 2–3 weeks will be 8-hour shifts (Monday–Friday)

Job Description:
•Assist in Admissions with processing patients (wanding with a metal detector, pat downs, etc.) and review/document patient belongings.
•Respond to calls and take appropriate action to assist in emergencies, including Code Situations.
•Control entrance and exit of individuals by checking identity, purpose, and authorization; escort individuals for safety.
•Prepare and maintain records such as incident reports, vehicle citations, visitor logs, and personal property reports.
•Communicate with law enforcement agencies to report incidents and request assistance.
•Patrol facilities, monitor alarms and use audiovisual and security systems to check for hazards, disturbances, and violations.
•Visually monitor individuals for safety and compliance with policies, rules, and regulations.
•Operate patrol and transport vehicles to complete security patrols or transport valuables and individuals.
•Operate two-way radios and other communication devices to accomplish security tasks.

Required Skills:
•Education equivalent to graduation from a standard high school or qualifying full-time law enforcement, security, or related experience substituted year-for-year.
•Valid motor vehicle operator's license may be required.
•Ability to work under general supervision performing security duties.
•Must provide proof of negative TB skin test before hire or receive test during orientation.
•Must provide proof of flu vaccination between November 1 and March 31 or submit approved exemption.
•Completion of Identogo Fingerprinting and background checks required.
