Lion Guard Corporation has an immediate opening for an experienced 6 Security Guard Supervisor (NOC: 62029) at our location in Toronto, ON.
As a Security Guard Supervisor (NOC: 62029), you will perform some or all of the following duties:
• Directly taking care of day-to-day activities – direct responsibility for leading a security team comprised of security Operators, and a number of fronts-line security personnel.
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with security guards.
• Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports.
• Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
• Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
• Conducting regular patrols of the interior and exterior of the property as assigned.
• Ensure our employees are adhering to all safety policies and practices.
• Ensuring all staff are trained in and aware of relevant emergency-related protocols.
• Observing transactions, slot drops, chip fills and transferring items to Lost & Found.
• Supervising the logging in and out of key site equipment.
• Maintaining and up-to-date knowledge of, and adhere to, site protocols.
• Providing accurate and detailed administrational work.
• Be accessible to your site team to assist with emergency calls during work hours.
• Ensuring a high standard of performance, dress, deportment, and conduct are maintained.
Qualifications:
• Completion of secondary school is usually required.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in the occupation supervised is required.
• Security Guard License, and Criminal Record check is required
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (40 hours/week)
Compensation: CA $ 24.75/hour
