Security Engineer Job

A Security Engineer is needed in Suwanee, Georgia.

• Monitor IT systems and networks for security breaches, intrusions, and suspicious activity.
• Perform vulnerability scans and security assessments using automated tools.
• Implement information security controls such as firewalls, access controls, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Apply security policies, standards, and procedures to protect systems and data.
• Investigate security alerts and incidents to identify potential threats and system weaknesses.
• Assist in responding to cybersecurity incidents and supporting recovery activities.
• Maintain system security configurations and apply updates and patches as required.
• Document security incidents, system vulnerabilities, and remediation actions.
• Support IT teams and users in the secure use of systems and security technologies.
• Review system logs and security reports to ensure ongoing compliance with security requirements.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology or related field of study and 3 years of experience in security systems management.
