Their exceptional production capability, product freezing & on-site frozen warehousing provide superior consistency and quality.
We are currently seeking a Security and Fire Alarm Systems Technician to join our team!
Primary Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, or repair security systems and related equipment according to blueprints and building plans.
• Mount control panels, sensors, and cameras; connect wiring.
• Demonstrate systems to customers, explaining details and false alarm causes.
• Test and repair circuits, sensors, and security features.
• Feed and position cables through walls and ceilings.
• Inspect systems for issues like loose connections or broken insulation.
• Test backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens, and other security features
• Drill holes for wiring.
• Inspect installation sites and plans to determine material needs and procedures.
• Determine and order equipment and materials.
• Mount raceways and conduits; adjust unit sensitivity as needed.
Requirements of Position:
• Completion of high school or college courses in electronics or on-the-job-training or relevant experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the same capacity
• Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical consumers
Compensation & Conditions:
• Permanent, full-time position
• $28.39 per hour for 32 hours per week
• Overtime may be required and will be paid at 1.5 of your regular hourly rate after 44 hours per week
• Benefits: Group Medical and Dental Plan
• Worksite environment: Dusty, Noisy
