Seamstress Job

We are seeking an experienced Seamstress to join our team.

Responsibilities:
• Perform alterations and repairs on garments according to specifications
• Use various sewing techniques, including stitching, hemming, and seaming, to produce high-quality results.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to understand their preferences and requirements for garment alterations.
• Ensure accurate fitting and proper sizing of garments through careful measurement and adjustment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sewing machines, tools, and materials.

• Experience as a Seamstress, with expertise in women's gowns, women's wear, boning, tailoring, suiting, and fabric expertise.
• Be able to create garments from scratch
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must work well with others.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and clients.
• We offer hybrid work experience - WFH and in person
• Must be based in New York and available to start immediately.
• Payment for this position is per project.
