Rubinos & Mesia Engineers in Chicago, IL is looking for Schedulers. A qualified applicant will be responsible for developing overall integrated master schedule for the Capital Improvement Program to create and maintain a baseline; Preparing schedules for the construction projects using Primavera P6, CPM Scheduling and WBS; Planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling the projects across the program with Primavera P6; Interfacing with various teams within the organization to develop a detailed integrated master schedule for Capital Improvement Projects and monitoring project performance; Developing a comprehensive work breakdown structure (WBS) for the master schedule in Primavera P6 to the required WBS level: Detailing, developing, incorporating projects, activities and contracts in the developed work breakdown structure and coordinating and estimating relevant durations and assigned relationships; Coordinating and attending meetings with different service departments for project progress and the status of various activities in the Primavera P6 database; Drafting and implementing action plan emphasizing quarterly goals concerning scheduling management; Preparing and sharing weekly status reports with management concerning scheduling tasks; Coordinating with GIS – Planning Team to ensure the integration of GIS with Primavera P6 concerning incorporated updates; and Providing training to project controls team concerning the Primavera P6 software. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering and five years’ experience in position or five years’ experience in Civil or Construction Engineering field; and experience with preparing schedules for construction projects, Primavera P6, CPM Scheduling and WBS.
