Job Description:
Load, unload and transport construction materials
Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting
Perform pre-operational inspection
Read blueprints to determine work requirements
Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
other structures

Education: Not required.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience as scaffolder, construction labourer or a related occupation is required. On-the-job training will be provided
Experience with Layher modular scaffold, Haki scaffold, and Plus8 scaffold is required.
Work in various weather conditions
Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, physically demanding, Tight deadlines, Manual dexterity, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail, Hand-eye coordination, Sitting.
Personal suitability: Accurate, Dependability, Flexibility, Reliability, Team player, Hardworking
Language: English is required.
Russian and Ukrainian are an asset
Weigh Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Work site environment: Outdoors, At heights, Underground, Confined spaces, Noisy, Dangerous, Dusty, Cold/refrigerated, Hot
Salary: $41.73 hourly (base salary) with adjustments based on location as per the collective agreement, 30 – 40 hours per week
Benefits: Transportation among work locations provided by employer, Learning/training paid by employer. Benefits as per the collective agreement (extended health and dental plans, group life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage, long-term disability insurance, pension contributions, and employer-funded training, education allowances, and equipment or tool reimbursements).
Important Information. Flexibility in schedule is required. The regular schedule is 8 hours per day, from Monday to Friday. Overtime and work on weekends and holidays may be required depending on business needs. *We guarantee at least 30 hours of work per week regardless of the weather*
