SC Medical Receptionist II Job

The Medical Receptionist is responsible for performing front office functions relating to the in-take and check out of patients in the clinic setting. This job requires a high level of flexibility and excellent communication skills as well as the ability to adapt to changes as they occur in both staffing levels as well as patient volumes.
Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office is required
• Understanding of diversified insurance plans
• Knowledge of coding and medical terminology is required
• Ability to speak Spanish is strongly preferred
• Exhibit good interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with authorizations is strongly preferred
• Maturity to withstand pressure that may arise in relation to the public and physicians
