Job Description:
Provide AMS L2/L3 support and continuous improvement for SAP S/4HANA QM (Primary) and PP (Secondary), ensuring stable manufacturing and quality execution (planning through production confirmations and inspection to usage decision), timely incident/problem resolution within SLAs, and controlled delivery of small enhancements and changes.

Requirements:

4–8+ years SAP QM and/or PP experience with hands-on AMS/support exposure (incident/problem/change).

Strong QM configuration and troubleshooting knowledge: inspection types, sampling procedures, results recording, UD, catalogs/codes, Q-notifications.

Strong PP configuration and troubleshooting knowledge: MRP parameters, production order types, scheduling, confirmations, goods movements, master data dependencies.

Solid understanding of manufacturing integration points with MM and FI/CO; ability to read and interpret document flow and error logs.

Familiarity with ITSM tools/processes (ServiceNow/Jira), SLA-driven prioritization, and RCA methods (5 Whys/Fishbone).

Strong communication skills with plant users, quality teams, and process owners; able to translate issues into actionable fixes.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

Experience with S/4HANA manufacturing features (MRP Live, Fiori apps), QM in EWM, batch management, and serial number processes.

Experience with QM–EWM and PP–EWM integration scenarios.

Integration experience with MES/LIMS, Loft ware for production label printing, PI sheets, or shop-floor mobility; IDoc/API troubleshooting.

Exposure to regulated environments (GxP/validated systems), including documentation rigor and change traceability.

Knowledge of variant configuration, process manufacturing (PP-PI), or advanced planning tools.

Education / Certifications

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).

SAP PP and/or SAP QM certification preferred.

Responsibilities:

Provide L2/L3 AMS support for SAP S/4HANA PP and QM across incidents, service requests, and defects; meet agreed SLAs.

Troubleshoot end-to-end manufacturing and quality issues: master data, execution errors, integrations, and posting failures; perform RCA and implement permanent fixes.

Support QM processes: incoming/in-process/final inspection, inspection lots, results recording, defects/notifications, usage decision, batch/serial considerations, certificates/CoA (where applicable).

Support PP processes: MRP/MRP Live, planned orders, production orders, BOM/routings, work centers, capacity, order release, confirmations, GI/GR, backflush, variances (process-dependent).

Execute configuration changes (SPRO) and small enhancements; coordinate transports and deployment across DEV/QA/PRD.

Support shop-floor and quality operations during peak periods (month-end close, high-volume production runs, cutovers/hypercare).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams: MM, WM/EWM, PM, SD, FI/CO, and interfaces (MES/LIMS, barcode/RF, PI sheets, IDocs/APIs).

Validate and document changes: functional specs, test scripts, unit/SIT support, UAT defect triage, and release readiness.

Maintain operational assets: runbooks, SOPs, knowledge articles, master data checklists, and standard troubleshooting guides.
