SAP Logistics Specialist Job

A SAP Logistics Specialist is needed in Bloomingdale, GA.

• Maintain proper inventory levels and essential inventory accuracy between the actual inventory and the SAP program.
• Arrange transportation of goods, schedule shipments, and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and import requirements, including staying updated on changes in regulations and incorporating them into the SAP system.
• Coordinate and authorize delivery and shipment terms in negotiations with suppliers, such as regulation compliance, forwarder selection, freight service provider selection, schedule, and costs.
• Manage warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods to ensure that products are stored safely and efficiently.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in the supply chain, including reducing costs, improving delivery times, or finding new suppliers.
• Analyze logistics data to identify trends, track performance, and make informed decisions and prepare reports to communicate findings to senior management.
• Track, organize, and manage warehouse inventory levels to ensure that there is enough stock to meet demand without overstocking.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of data within the SAP system, including supplier information and inventory records.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze warehouse activities utilizing SAP and planning for the company’s inventory, warehouse and shipping management process.

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Logistics, or closely related field of study and Minimum one (1) year of experience in logistics and utilizing logistics management programs such as SAP, ERP, and WMS in the automotive parts manufacturing industry.
