Sandwich Artist, Part-time (Healthcare) Job

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately fill the role of Sandwich Artist, Part-time at one our healthcare accounts in Orlando, FL.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Exhibit a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders


• Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain them to guests accurately


• Use Point of Sale system/cash register to record the order and compute the amount of the bill


• Collect payment from guests and makes change


• Perform Cash-In Procedure- accounting for all forms of money, bread, etc., during the shift


• Prepare food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner


• Check products in sandwich unit area and restock items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift


• Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up


• Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image Understand and adhere to the 3-step method for cleaning


• Understand and adhere to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in the SUBWAY® Operations Manual


• Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the SUBWAY® Operations Manual


• Perform light paperwork duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous food service experience is preferred


• Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction


• Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register


• Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday


• Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
