Sandbox Early Learning is seeking F/T Early Childhood Educators Job

Position Info:

• Position: Early Childhood Educator
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $22.50~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 7
• Work Location: 9648 128th Street, Surrey, BC V3T 2X9

Job Duties:

• Establish and develop childcare programs aimed at supporting children’s overall development in physical, cognitive, emotional, and social aspects
• Assess children’s skills, interests, and needs, and engage in conversations about their development or challenges with parents and colleagues
• Utilize specialized educational materials and resources to implement age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity among children
• Provide training and assistance to children in acquiring self-care skills such as using the restroom, eating, and dressing independently
• Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
• Monitor children closely and communicate any changes in behavior to supervisors, parents, and guardians

Job requirements:

• Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required
• Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate and E.C.E Certificate
• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Language: English
