Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $28.85~$32.00/hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
Number of Positions: 3
Work Location: 9648 128 Street, Surrey, BC V3T 2X9

Job Duties:
Support to early childhood educators in the implementation of programs that enhance children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
Assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
Engage children through activities such as storytelling, teaching songs and preparing crafts
Prepare snacks and set up rooms for lunch and rest periods
Provide written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
Assist with housekeeping and cooking responsibilities while maintaining daycare equipment
Support early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining records
Job requirements:
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in childcare is required
Education: Completion of secondary school is required
Certificate: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate and E.C.E.A. Certificate
Language: English
