Sandbox Early Learning is seeking a F/T Early Childhood Educator Assistant Job

Position Info:

• Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $52,000 - $57,500/year (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 2
• Work Location: 9648 128th Street, Surrey, BC V3T 2X9

Job Duties:

• Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
• Support children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
• Engage children in storytelling, songs, and crafts to encourage social and cognitive growth
• Prepare snacks and set up rooms for lunch and rest periods
• Provide written observations on children’s progress to early childhood educators or supervisors
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and assist with housekeeping and cooking tasks
• Attend staff meetings to review children's development and address any concerns

Job requirements:

• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in childcare is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Certificate: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate and E.C.E.A. Certificate
• Language: English
