Pompadours on Denman is looking for 1 salon manager to oversee our salon’s day to day operations
Job duties:
• Managing the daily operations of the salon including supervision of staff
• Ensures the Pompadours on Denman standards are maintained by the salon staff.
• Apply safety and hygiene practices across all beauty stations
• Provides clear direction, establishes goals, manages overall
guest satisfaction, and monitors progress to achieve desired results
• Aware of the guest experience and looks for opportunities to assist peers and guests at all times
• Ensures staff is equipped with all tools to serve the guests’ needs.
• Plan and control the budget to achieve annual targets
• Order all salon supplies and retail products
• Responsible for all inventory management of linen, products, equipment, administrative supplies, retail items and any necessary items within the Salon
• Organize employee scheduling, vacation and other benefits tracking
• Communicate with staff and disseminate appropriate information when necessary
• Responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and cleanliness of all areas of the salon

Qualification and Skills:
• Completion of high school
• At least 2 years work experience as Salon Manager or similar role
• Effective communication and team leading skills
• Detailed knowledge of the beauty industry and customer needs
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Customer-oriented individual and an outstanding problem-solver
• Understanding of key drivers of revenue growth, profitability and quality performance
