POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the daily sales operations to ensure optimal team performance and achievement of sales targets. This role involves supervising sales staff, implementing sales strategies, and providing training and support to enhance customer service and sales results. The Sales Supervisor will also monitor inventory, manage cash handling procedures, and resolve customer inquiries or issues. Collaborating with management, the Sales Supervisor will assist in developing promotional activities and fundraising initiatives to support company goals, ensuring operational efficiency and overall business growth.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of sales staff and cashiers to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.
• Assign sales workers to duties, prepare work schedules, and monitor performance to achieve sales targets and operational goals.
• Authorize and oversee transactions, including merchandise returns, exchanges, price adjustments, and discounts as per company policies.
• Address and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and escalated issues to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Monitor inventory levels, ensure shelves are stocked, and coordinate the ordering of merchandise to meet sales demand and avoid shortages.
• Train new sales staff on customer service standards, sales techniques, and company policies, and provide ongoing coaching to improve performance.
• Evaluate sales performance, prepare reports on sales volumes, and identify areas for improvement in customer service and team productivity.
• Maintain store appearance by ensuring displays, signage, and cleanliness are aligned with company standards.
• Conduct opening and closing procedures, including balancing cash registers, securing the premises, and ensuring proper handover processes.
• Assist with developing and implementing sales strategies, promotional activities, and marketing plans to maximize revenue.
• Coordinate with suppliers, oversee deliveries, and verify shipments to maintain inventory accuracy and stock availability.
• Perform key holding duties, including managing staff during shifts, handling escalated issues, and ensuring adherence to operational procedures.
