This job requires weekends. Please do not apply if you're unable to work outside or weekends.
Neptune Nursery in Palm City, Florida, is looking for a sales associate to join our growing Team!
The ideal candidate must have experience working in a nursery, and possesses the following qualities: positive personality, hard worker, self-starter, great customer service skills, able to use register, count money, retain information, complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, team player, flexible, good with sales, and reliable.
A Horticulture Degree is a plus.
Some duties include:
Taking care of plants and palms.
Maintaining and cutting back plants.
Help with watering plants at the nursery.
Knowledge of the sod, plants, palms, mulch and materials we sell (we will train you in this).
Organizing the office (e.g., answering calls, assisting customers with plants, rocks, pottery, taking deliveries, managing orders, drivers, plant material, ordering materials for the nursery, keeping offices clean, etc.).
Help co-workers with different nursery tasks.
Miscellaneous duties.
Skills Required:
Able to use a register, computer, WORD, Google Docs, iPhone, and count money.
Being bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
Horticulture Degree/Knowledge (knows their plants and palms, etc).

Monday-Friday, the hours are 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Saturday the hours are 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
Sundays the hours are from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
