Safety supervisor - occupational health and safety Job

Education required: College or non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years (specified in Occupation health and safety)
Experience required: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience is required

The job duties for the position are following:
Conduct and take part in audits and investigations related to workplace safety concerns, incidents, and accidents.
Carry out and engage in workplace inspections to confirm that equipment, materials, and production methods do not pose risks to employee health and safety.
Design and apply health and safety programs, including SOPs, policies, and training initiatives to reduce risks, enhance employee well-being, and promote a strong safety culture.
Enforce compliance measures against workplaces that violate internal or governmental health and safety standards.
Deliver workplace safety training to employers, employees, and the broader community.
Communicate with, involve, and influence both management and staff to support adherence to health and safety laws and regulations.
