Job Description
Conduct and take part in workplace audits and investigations related to safety issues, incidents, and accidents.
Carry out regular workplace inspections to ensure tools, equipment, materials, and work processes are safe for employees.
Create and apply health and safety programs, including procedures, policies, and training, to reduce risks and promote a safe and healthy work environment.
Take enforcement action when workplaces do not follow company policies or government health and safety laws.
Deliver health and safety training to employers, workers, and the public to improve awareness and safe practices.
Communicate clearly with management and employees to encourage understanding of, and compliance with, health and safety laws and regulations.
